You have just unpacked your ZAM ? Congratulations. In a few minutes, you will be ZAMed !

1. Remove the 9 volts battery from the pre-amp of your guitar and place the ZAM dummy battery in your kit. You have two batteries ? Simply join the two connectors to close the circuit. If this is not practical, insert two ZAM dummy batteries. To order a additionnal battery, go to the ZAMPOWER STORE.

For the pre-amps with four batteries or the models using LR6 batteries, see your instrument makers to adapt your guitar.

A minor modification will allow you to use your batteries without resorting to a ZAM dummy battery.

2. Plug your guitar to the IN socket of the ZAM via the stereo jack included in the pack. You must imperatively use a stereo jack, to avoid short circuiting your ZAM. Select the voltage required by your instrument.

3. Patch the OUT socket of the ZAM to your amplifier, recorder or console with a mono jack ( not included in the package.)

4. Plug the DC cable of the ZAM to the power supply, then plug the suplly pack on the a DC outlet.

In order to use your ZAM safely, it is advised to plug all the jacks before plugging the power supply. First connect the stereo jack to the ZAM then plug your instrument.

If your must unplug your instrument with the ZAM under tension, press the MUTE switch and disconnect your instrument.
